i-THRIVE Community of Practice event: 3rd November 2022
Supporting Shared Decision Making and Personalised Care through Integrated Front Doors
Thursday 3rd November 2022, 10:00-16:00.
The National i-THRIVE Programme led an online Community of Practice event on using integrated front doors to support personalised care and shared decision making. We heard how the Family Hubs model can be used to support the implementation of an Integrated Front Door, delivered by guest speaker Steve Bywater (Strategic Supporting Families Manager across Westminster). This was followed by presentations from Islington in London (delivered by Stephanie Campos, SEMH team manager in Islington) and Greater Manchester (delivered by Dr Paul Wallis, i-THRIVE lead, and Angela Daniel, i-THRIVE Programme Manager), who shared their experiences of developing an Integrated Front Door and challenges they have faced.
The event was well-attended by over 60 attendees, representing nearly 30 regions, and feedback was overwhelming positive. Participants found it helpful learning from other sites and highly valued opportunities to share challenges and network.
