i-THRIVE Academy

Providing training to facilitate delivery of i-THRIVE

The i-THRIVE Academy supports sites to develop their workforce so that staff have the right skills to deliver care aligned to the principles of the THRIVE Framework for system change (Wolpert et al. 2019) and aligned to objectives in Future in Mind and the Long Term Plan.

We have five practice development modules available to sites to purchase to support local implementation of the THRIVE Framework. These can be delivered individually or in sequence according to local need.

The i-THRIVE Academy modules are intended for groups of cross-sector professionals from across the system of support for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The i-THRIVE Academy Modules

1. Getting Advice and Signposting

2. Building Confidence in Letting Go and Managing Difficult Endings

3. Risk Support

4. Shared Decision Making to Facilitate Personalised Care

5. The THRIVE Framework: Leading system wide transformation

The i-THRIVE Academy was piloted in 2017 to over 200 professionals thanks to funding from Health Education England. Click here to read an overview of the impact and reach of the pilot and for feedback from participants.
